Default Can you reboot Acti cameras...

HI, I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to reboot these cameras from the command line somehow instead of having to go in their config page?
Our cameras seem to stop their PTZ tour overnight all by themselves.
Thanks

You can use the following url command:

HTML Code:
http://192.168.1.1/cgi-bin/system?USER=Admin&PWD=123456&REBOOT

Simply replace the IP address with the correct address for your camera.

If you are having any problems with any ACTi camera products you can register at their website and raise a support ticket to request their help and input:
HTML Code:

Hi and thank you very much that worked. Any chance of doing that through a batch file so that I can fire it up using XP's scheduler please??
While on these cameras, do you use ACTI's NVR software? If you do, their last fix included executing the last layout used. Now I find that whenever I restart the software, the cameras will have tohave their PTZ tour started manually, they do not start touring automatically. Do you know of any workaround please? Oh yes, and I did email them about both these problems but failed toget an answer

Thank you in advance

Default Technical support for ACTi cameras

Sorry Chunkyman your Post got lost in moderation

Rather than emailing ACTi with support queries, go to their website and raise a Support Ticket.

You will need to register first, but by opening a support Case with ACTi I'm sure you'll get a response.

Let us know how you get on ...
