   Has a shoot out ever happened between these 2 manufactures? Does any one have any info?

   Hi Jon,
   
   I'm not aware of any direct comparison tests.
   
   Pelco's strength tends to lie with their PTZ models e.g. Spectra domes.
   
   Mobotix are famed for their high-resolution (3 Megapixel) cameras in a ready-to-go weatherproof camera housing with lots of built-in features.
   
   Sanyo's HD range (up to 4 MP) is also worth considering.
