No email alerts via Gmail now?

For the past few days I've not been receiving any email alerts. If I check "Alarms" on IVMS 4500 I can see that that app is receiving alerts, but I don't get any alert (i.e. I only know if Line Crossing has been activated by taking the time to search within IVMS 4500, obviously missing alerts as they occur).

I think the problem may lie with Allowing Less Secure Apps with Google Chrome. Since 30/05/2022 Google Chrome has removed the option of switching off "Allowing Less Secure Apps".

How can I receive notifications at the time of an event occurring?? I purchased this system to prevent crime occurring, not to just view it after the matter.

Fixed mine now works 100% with gmail see

HIK Email Alerts via Gmail Stopped Working

I have the HIK DS-7616NI-16P NVR, email alerts have been working fine but stopped working two days ago. Gmail config is the same as working, test fails each and every time, firmware is latest version (set to auto update). Is there any other tests that I can do to validate what the issue is?

I can confirm that Gmail addresses work perfectly again after the new steps (creating an app password).
