Hikvision software update??

I have a DS-7204HQI-F1/N DVR, and I've been told I need to update the firmware. I've searched the web to find my DVR model, but cant locate this model.
CAn you please help.
Also, my DVR is in the loft, once and if I can find an update, how do I update my DVR, I only use IVMS 4200 Client software to view my DVR.

How do I recognise which is my DVR?

I presume this V3.4.2 build160119 for 7104(08)_7200HQHI-F_N is the software I need?????
I am a complete novice here.
I copied this to my desktop.
What do I do next?
I only have IVMS - 4200 client software installed on my pc, as my DVR is in the loft.

It is simplest to complete the firmware update if you use the Internet Explorer browser on your PC, and follow the steps in the updating guide I linked to above.

If you don't know the IP address of your NVR, then install Hikvision's SADP utility and run that first:

I carried out exactly as per instructions, the DVR went through the process of installing the new firmware, but...
After it installed this new build the DVR now doesn't work, no video at all.

Is it still online?
Can you login to the Config area?
What firmware version does it now show?
Is it just video that you are not seeing?
You are not seeing video when you login from IE11 browser?
