Unable to Upgrade firmware on PTZ (failed to get the upgrading progress)

Hi guys


I have 3 DS-2DE4225IW-DE that won't upgrade firmware, I have tried via the camera web GUI and a batch configuration tool and get the message failed to get the upgrading progress.


Currently, they are on V5.5.71 108725 however the latest is 5.5.8

Followed the Guide still the same error

the serial number for camera is DS-2DE4225IW-DE20180517CCWRC22497692W

I have tried different machines aswell

short of factory reset not sure what else I can try


restored everything but IP to default and still the same issue
 
Definitely using Internet Explorer on a Windows 10 PC that is wired (not wireless) to your network?
And putting the digicap.dav file in the C: root?

Can you please clarify the error?
When does it return the error?
Does it begin the update process?
Perhaps you can upload a screenshot?
 
Currently tried on a windows 10 pc that is on network via VPN tunnels and also tried on a windows server 2012 r2 machine that is the exact network (no VPN)

I can get the Web Gui up and go to maintenance and add the digicap file
Press upgrade and get the Device will reboot message
select Ok
Upgrading message appears at 0% then get the screenshotted message

other cameras on the network have upgraded via the batch tool. Last option will be to visit the site
 
frustratingly after clearing the downloads and redownloading the update, it has now worked maybe I should have tried that first :oops:
