IP cameras on Hikvision Turbo HD 1.0 Hybrid DVR - should they show up with analog cameras in app?

Thank you! That's very helpful. My boss has decided to go a completely different route at the restaurant, we still have the DVR going with 32 channels and it'll stay in place indefinitely, doing mainly outdoor cameras (for now) But now he uses those little Wyze micro-SD cameras that cost...

MacOS Hikvision's SADP utility for 64-bit Mac users (V3.0.0.3)

Hi, thanks for the update. Certainly sounds like it's something to do with one of the Mojave point updates. I'm not connected wirelessly. Please let me know if there's an update to SADP that addresses this issue. Hopefully it'll come out before another MacOS point update that breaks it...

MacOS Hikvision's SADP utility for 64-bit Mac users (V3.0.0.3)

Just got a new camera and tried to use 1.0.0.4 and 1.0.0.3 on my new Macbook (both 64 bit, as I'm on Mojave) and neither will scan the network for any cameras. I use the MacOS software firewall, but I turned it off and no change. Jumped to an old laptop with Windows and SADP worked just fine...

Steps for good internet-exposed security on Hikvision DS-7300 series DVR

Welp, can't change the admin name so scratch that off the list Can isolate it to a MAC address - the restaurant owner just decided nix the idea of remote administration and limit it only to viewing, so it became a non-issue in our scenario. A VPN would be ideal except for two things: 1) No...

Steps for good internet-exposed security on Hikvision DS-7300 series DVR

Re: What I did when configuring the new DVR, Yes, you're right - changing the DDNS name did not appear to help - I still get hack attempt emails all the time. Range of ports isolated to a particular locality does not seem possible on our model DVR, it only has user+MAC address isolation...

Is Hikvision Turbo HD 1.0 Hybrid DVR ONVIF compatible?

Oh sorry, it's the DS-7332HGHI-SH - the old Turbo HD 1.0 model. It's good for a DVR but its IP cam handling leaves much to be desired. I think it requires Hikvision cameras Just trying to see the IP cameras on the same list as the TVI cameras in the IVMS-4500 app. So far we've had to add IP...

IP cameras on Hikvision Turbo HD 1.0 Hybrid DVR - should they show up with analog cameras in app?

You know, that's a good point. However, I know for now at least we're trying to keep all the streams in one place. The DVR *says* it should be able to add an additional 8 IP cameras to the 32 analog cameras (or up to 32 if not using any analog cameras) - so one would think it would be adept...

Is Hikvision Turbo HD 1.0 Hybrid DVR ONVIF compatible?

Is Hikvision Turbo HD 1.0 Hybrid DVR ONVIF compatible? Just wondering if we should be able to use 3rd-party cameras with our Hybrid DVR. It supports IP cameras, but the list of supported cameras in the manual is quite small and I can't find most of them for sale. Thanks

IP cameras on Hikvision Turbo HD 1.0 Hybrid DVR - should they show up with analog cameras in app?

Hi, Does anyone have a Hikvision DS-71xx DS-72xx or DS-73xx hybrid DVR that you use with both analog and IP cameras? We're trying to adopt IP cameras with our DS-7332HGHI - got our first one up and running, seems to be able to view from the DVR and record just like the analog cameras...

Hi, is this forum appropriate for analog DVRs, as well?

No problem! It's a hybrid DVR, Hikvision DS-7332HGHI-SH - it accepts 32 TVI cameras using BNC and 8 IP cameras over the network. So my questions were likely to be more specific to using it with IP cameras. I mostly wanted to join this forum because from what I saw the support given was high...

Hikvision Password Reset - Do It Yourself

Thanks Phil! Sorry I spammed you - I overlooked the part where you said the DVR had to have been purchased through Use-IP LTD. Appreciate the help.

Hikvision Password Reset - Do It Yourself

Hello, Does this process apply to Hikvision DS-7300 series DVRs? We have a DS-7332HGHI that has the account locked, unfortunately.

Steps for good internet-exposed security on Hikvision DS-7300 series DVR

Hello, I am trying to keep a new DVR we just purchased from having the admin account locked out basically as soon as we put it online Our issue: We have several people who view our CCTV system remotely. We put the standard ports, e.g. 80, 443, 554, 8000 and 10554 on the net with access...

Hi, is this forum appropriate for analog DVRs, as well?

Hello, I am looking for a decent support forum for our CCTV equipment, but we do have a lot of legacy equipment that we intend to keep using. Is this forum only appropriate for IP cameras, or is it OK to ask for BNC-style camera support, as well?
