I have been playing with this recently - if I uninstall any hikvision browser plugins and then change the streams to "sub streams". Then I select grid view and finally click the play / triangle button at the bottom of the screen. Then all my cameras play live feed in edge OK fine.

Thanks again! As you suggested, I have added a 2nd local connection instance as a great short term solution (to get the best of both worlds). Been meaning to replace my ISP router for a while so will bite the bullet and make sure it supports Loopback. Thanks again for the great expert advice!
