Yes, I guess I should had stated micro SD card and HDD as the hard drive. So from what you saying when you select playback, are you accessing the HDD or SD card? I have both on my NVR. Also, I assume the SD card gets rewritten when full?

Hi Yes I understand what an SD card is. 1) why have them in my cameras, and what do they record which is different to what's recorded on the HD? 2) why have them and what's their prime role when you have a HD in the NVR 3) how do I access what's on them.?

I've just upgraded the firmware on my nvr 7604NI-K1 to version v4.30.085 build 210409, When I open IVMS 4200 it tells me that nvr firmware is upgradeable?? I'm assuming the version of firmware I've downloaded is the latest. Regards

I'm very new to poe systems. I about to install a hikvision NVR with 4 colourvu cameras. My problem is, the nvr will be away from the router and my computer and it's not possible to connect the nvr via hdmi cable. Can I access the events management tools via my pc over the web?

Hi I carried out exactly as per instructions, the DVR went through the process of installing the new firmware, but... After it installed this new build the DVR now doesn't work, no video at all.

I presume this V3.4.2 build160119 for 7104(08)_7200HQHI-F_N is the software I need????? I am a complete novice here. I copied this to my desktop. What do I do next? I only have IVMS - 4200 client software installed on my pc, as my DVR is in the loft. Many thanks
