Is it possible to add a Reolink E1 Outdoor PoE (E1 Outdoor PoE - 4K PTZ PoE Security Camera With Auto Tracking | Reolink Official) to a Hikvision DS-7616NI-M2 / 16P? If it is, would the PTZ and zoom functions be available through the NVR or would they be restricted to the Reolink app?

I've spent too much time trying to connect a Reolink POE doorbell camera to my DS-7616NI-M2 / 16P and have failed miserably. Anyone able to help with easy to follow instructions please?

Yes, two cables. The HDD is visible in the initial setup wizard, it's only the tick box to select it that's missing. The label is 1, the capacity is shown, the state is uninitialised, property R/W and type Local

Hi It's a Hikvision DS-7616NI-M2/16P and I have it connected to a monitor using a VGA connection.

I'm setting up a new NVR and have got as far as initialising a new 4GB HDD but the box to tick to select it is not present on the screen. Clicking 'Init' tells me to select the HDD. I can't! Is there something I'm missing or do I ignore, move on, and come back to it later?

I am seeing some cameras with (C) at the end of their code. What does (C) indicate?

After a seriously long wait, the self-test has come up with 'Self-test Status: Read operation failed'. do I assume the hard drive has failed?

That's popped up with something of a concern. I bought the NVR in October 2021, 528 days ago but the self-test page shows 'Power On: 1853Day(s)' which calculates to February 2018!

The short self-test appears to be stuck at 90% for the past 15 minutes. Fail?

Model: DS-7608NI-I2 / 8P Live view shows all eight of my cameras but clicking on Playback I get a 'No record file' error. The hard disk shows 0 free space so I have reformatted it. It still shows 0 free space. Looking at the logs and selecting 'Exception', I am seeing multiple (2000!)...

Hi and thanks for the response. The firmware is V3.4.103 build 181226 and I've attached screen grabs of the self test results which (to me) appear to be OK.
