With a firmware update to version 1.4.0 you can set it differently to previous models.
For example it can be triggered between a low and high. So between 10-20 degrees. Either side there would be no trigger.
I have only tested on iOS. I’m also getting the issue on playback too, now.
I can get further information soon but it seems quite random. I could have a set of 4 cameras on one site which are identical but it will only go green for 2 of them.

Since the most recent update to HPP (Version: 2.3.640 Update at: 2023-08-18 10:20:22), some of my managed sites now show up as green on live view. Playback is fine. It works fine in Hik Connect and the browser.
The app update may well be a coincidence. Some sites it is all cameras or...
Unfortunately it is not possible to update devices which says "too low". I have been in talks with Hikvision on a number of times about this as its ridiculous.
The only way to update is to return the product for a manual update via serial port (so I am told). Seems a bit of a flaw considering...
I might be wrong but the file name can’t be changed as it doesn’t accept it. Download it and keep the file name as it is with the .tar ending.

There is a firmware update on the EU portal to 1.4.0 which might be worth trying by updating on the browser manually.
However mine are all 1.2.0 with no issues. I have around 40 installed in various locations.

Does anybody have any experience with ethernet over coaxial extenders?
I have taken over an install where one is used. Never used them before but every few weeks the extender needs rebooting. Are they not reliable or does the extender perhaps need replacing?

None of that was relevant in the end. For some reasons several settings had reset to defaults meaning the port was incorrect. Even timezone had changed.

For some reason I can no longer access the settings (cog) via the app. It’ll time out and ask for my login. Nothing has been intentionally changed within the settings. I also can’t view in the browser. Port forwarding still remains setup.

DNS being used is 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4.
Time server uk.pool.ntp.org
60 interval.
