If you are swapping the location, I’m assuming each camera will use the existing wiring of the other camera. If so then why not just swap the Ethernet cable at the back of the NVR As well? Then nothing changes.

@gilders Yes I agree: Luckily for me I don’t care about the path behind the camera as it is covered by another camera down the side and the grassy area is also covered by another closer camera.

that is odd. I’ve changed it to 10 as above, but assume from above info it would of defaulted to 1Gb. Looking at the start of recordings and there is actually a discrepancy on the recordings starting between cameras. 1 - 15:09:59 2 - 15:11:47 3 - 15:12:03 4 - 15:15:16

As an ex electronics design engineer: There‘s no reason why you can‘t go direct. current latest is V5.6.5 build 20200316 from what I can see.

@gilders Yes, I had issues with both H265+ and H265: All related to HD playback on other devices within the same local network. I have a thread on here about it. Issues went away with H264, so that’s what I use.

I have exactly the same firmware as you and I do have the enable audio under the advanced tab, so that is odd. In fact I followed the exact same thread to sort my lack of recorded audio a while ago. Are you logging into the NVR via a web browser?
