Another option if you have access to your router admin and know what your doing, you can manually set an IP address against the MAC address of your camera so that DHCP can remain active in camera setup and the router will assign the fixed IP instead.

I believe that page is controlled by LocalServiceComponents which is installed to allow viewing of more recent cameras. You can always unstall it via Windows Settings, Installed APPS and then re-install it. When you connect to one of your cameras, you should see the download plugin option...

Updated also today. Post update also had warning to update plugin to avoid issues. Was running plugin 1.0.081. New version is 1.0.0.91.

An updated Android version of the app now available which has fixed this annoying issue. Still surprised no one else noticed :-)
