I think also unticking the UPnP was why it was fixed. It hasn’t rebooted since so fingers crossed it’s all good now. Thanks a million to everyone for getting it sorted

It has come back online. I changed the DNS TO 8.8.8.8 and suddenly it went online. However now twice the NVR has re-booted ??

I cannot reboot WiFi at the moment we kids online school. I rebooted the NVR and no change

Just plugged in laptop as directed and yes there is a connection in the ethernet

If that's the case everything goes into the back of the NVR in the utility room

Almost, I think the TP link is going to the NVR & there are 3 Ethernet plugs into the back of the NVR.

Thanks for that. The address was dev.hik-connect.com before and then changed it to litedev.hik-connect.com. It would not connect to either but I can try again.

ok I plugged the ethernet port into the TP link that is in the attic which has only 1 port to run to the NVR. I disabled wifi and connected to the internet via the ethernet. Attached is the ipconfig/all from cmd

The 3 cameras are showing again

Ok so the 3 cameras are back after I clicked edit, don't know why ? but the system is still offline and code Ox1001 now showing again.
