If I switch off the infra-red lights on a Hikvison camera via the software, does the camera still switch from day to night mode, or does the camera stay locked in day mode. ( Camera needs to be covert at night ) :)

Thanks for your help Phil. :) I contacted Hikvison UK support yesterday, but unfortunately they didn't know the answer. Today I contacted Hikvision US and was told their camera's only work with 850nm and not 940nm. :(

Hi guys. Can anyone tell me if the latest Hikvision cameras ( DeepinView 12m Series or other cameras ) are capable of working with separate standalone 940nm infra-red lights. I need the camera's to be hidden from view, and all onboard visible 850nm infra-red lights need to be switched off.
