Managed to fix this via changing the camera setting on the NVR. Change it to audio and visual in everywhere you see the option. Have mine now working.

I actually haven’t tried that. Only via the app and web browser that logs directly into the NVR. Both have the same issue on playback. Will direct via monitor be any different?

Yeah I looked at this last night. Very strange as sometimes it works perfectly.. but on most occasions the recoding is useless.
