BTW I was able to put online the CAMs: it was just a matter of reloading the CAM pages URLs (I found it heuristically, I did not find this written anywhere, just a youtube video). I was also able to register the CAMs with hikconnect Thanks much: I will move to iVMS then: is this worth the effort ?

update: I have updated the latest FW to both cams V5.6.3 build 190923: as a result they are both offline ...

OK I was able to add another came (same model) which is not offline. So next question is: how do I put online this cam?

The ports are correctly forwarded: the iVR client on w10 works fine (I can see both cameras live playback). Cameras uses different IPs and different ports. I am not using any NVR for the moment. I plan to use QNAP QVR Pro (I am learning ....)

I connect to the WAN using ddns (with no-ip): I register to it in my router/modem so I do not get the point of the reason why I should enable ddns individually fr each IP CAM. Should I disable it if my router is subscribed already to a DDNS provider? Does it means that if the router is not...
