lol why do you care about bitrate changes above if you run them in vbr anyway... with hardcoded rubbish in firmware many companies like reolink tries to trick you with "good looking image" , so an uninformed customer think.,.. wow what a good looking image... this is the typical cctv chinese...

please dont post image / footage... you cannot say what is going on from "some footage" or still images... it doesnt matter how it looks.. they might trick you with "better" or "same" visible quality who is looking a stream 24/7 ? on some scenes you might have missing motion or blurry image due...

yes and this is the problem. In my opinion the firmware isnt released (i can be wrong) and its only supported with C version ... Uk sellers have many non C versions and some continue to stock them. so if you buy in UK the change to get G3 platform model is high. this guy here was already asking...

this is not possible... if you want something like that you need an active deterrence camera thatswhy many use IR-cameras.. they dont want a bright LED the whole night...

i may try it if i have more time... i have a unused freepbx here laying around for playing i know that some video phones support it, but it really depends if the device send the video-stream-information in header. if not, you have to go rounds to get it work with isapi

hikvision/hikconnect grabs the rtsp stream BEFORE you take the call. most (or all) sip apps only shows you the video feed after you accepted the call... but maybe you find one, which can do it.

Its also possible with VLC on Windows,... omxplayer,vlc,... are all high customizable videoplayers, which you can control via commands or with scripts. Its called "mosaic" on vlc see here https://wiki.videolan.org/VLC_HowTo/Make_a_mosaic/...

when playing with sip... remember... you can only use SIP or Hikconnect... not both at the same time. maybe they fixed it , but i had the problem with an older version of the intercom system. another problem... there is no sip app which show you the videofeed without accept the call... this is...

Next time better factory it via indoor station (under devices)... so the indoor station will push the password from indoor station to outdoor station and set everything up automatic...
