In the past I used to down load a file via the laptop to update the nvr and cameras. Since the green screen issue I havnt updated it for at least a year to stop the green screen issue.
Now though when I open the nvr menu on ghe nvr I get a message box saying update.. I never have done it like...
I have a ds-7608ni-i2 nvr and 3 x colorvu turret camera. 2 of them are 2k and 1 is 4k.
The 4k is the one I'm having playback issues with. If viewing play back there are sections that just won't load up and grey stall at 73 to 83%.
Other sections load fine. The nvr plays back fine.

I don't think there will be a fix. It's been to long. Would have thought if they were going to fix it they would have. Mine is all about the 4k camera. Only ever seems to be related to anything on that channel.
I got this issue when I added the 8mp 4k camera. Was fine before. That's the same time I got the green screen issue and stepped back on the firmware that caused all my issues.
A few months ago I rolled back to a previous software version on my ds-7608ni-i2 as the update ruined my hik connect app when viewing the 8mp camera.
Does anyone know if this ever got resolved?
I installed it and it works perfectly. I havnt updated the nvr though and everyone else who stepped back the nvr update got rid if the green screen issue
