Yes the ASUS DNS service using iVMS was much faster than Hik-Connect

Cheers - have you tried just using the newer Hik Connect app and left port forwarding and DDNS off etc on the router?

Sorry for the late reply I was on vacation and didnt see this.
Im now running a Asus RT-AX88U and use both iVMS for the 2 neighbourhood watch shared cameras and Hikconnect for my 8 IP cameras.
I have "Enable DDNS" switched off & "Enable uPNP" switched off on the NVR network settings.
