Not as far as I'm aware. I've only ever seen them as an aid to setup, in the LIVE view.

Is there a device managing IP addresses on the network? To provide your cameras with their own IP addresses. As you'd probably need to enter the camera's IP address in order to add them manually. Whilst the QR code method may need an internet connection.

Have you previously added other network cameras to your LAN and than added them to the NVR in this way? Can you browse to the new camera at that IP address from a PC on the same LAN?

Yes, it should. Are you perhaps running SADP on a wireless laptop? Sometimes that can cause issues - try connecting it to your router with a patch lead as a test. Or perhaps your Firewall / Anti-Virus is inhibiting the SADP scan? Test it with your shields temporarily down.

Have you tried a different monitor and/or different connection if avaialble? For example connect it via VGA instead of HDMI.
