K-Series NVR+Cameras not accessbile after network outages?

It does have a fixed IP. My router is set to always assign that 192.168.1.3 IP address to the NVR. So while the NVR is set to use DHCP it will always be assigned that specific IP by the router.

K-Series NVR+Cameras not accessbile after network outages?

Connected directly to the NVR.... NVR is connected to a switch that connects to the router. All other devices recover if the network goes down (i.e. say Virgin Media has an outage) - Echos, Ring Doorbells, etc all work after it. Just the Hikvision needs a restart to work again.

K-Series NVR+Cameras not accessbile after network outages?

I have a K-Series NVR and cameras (G1s) running the 4.x series firmware. If the internet connection goes down (i.e. just test by pulling the cable for a few mins) when the network comes back up the NVR and its cameras are no longer available to view in hikvision. Any ideas?

Move Hikvision cameras from NVR to regular POE switch?

One additional question on this. I have a single GigE (CAT6) ethernet cable to run office where the NVR would sit. I would have 6 x 8MP H.265 Hikvision Turret cameras recording to that NVR 24/7. How much of the 1 gig bandwidth will that be using approx. I also run my main PC and Synology server...

Hikvision Officially Release V4 Firmware for their K-Series NVRs - V4.21.005

Does this mean that those of us who did move to the 4 release will now not get updates to it to fix issues?

Move Hikvision cameras from NVR to regular POE switch?

Great thanks that makes total sense. I'll adjust my DHCP server to just start handing out IP's from 192.168.11 onwards and then it gives me 6+ statics I can assign to the cameras. Or if I left the cameras on DHCP does the NVR handle that fine? i.e. could I just leave my current DHCP server to...

Intrusion and line crossing marks in playback mode

Thanks for the update - at least i wasn't missing something obvious then! That is a real shame. Definitely works on the actual TV/NVR itself so I guess I can use that but the browser is so much easier for accessing events from anywhere in house.

Intrusion and line crossing marks in playback mode

Having the same issue here. Did this ever get solved? I have my K series NVR set to record continuously and I have set up line crossing (and intrusion) smart events on certain cameras. I receive email alarms on these so they're working. However if I open IE and search on a date I just see a long...

Move Hikvision cameras from NVR to regular POE switch?

I want to relocate my Hikvision K Series NVR from our main room to a home office (noise reasons - the NVR is noisy!). Currently I have 6 Hikvision POE cameras directly attached to the NVR (using same admin passwords as NVR etc). Can I simply plug those cameras into a POE switch in the same...
