Hik-Connect Vertical Lines Appearing in CCTV Feed – Not There Before

It's not possible to determine. All you can do is inspect all of the connections. Poor connections make it more susceptible to mains related interference.

DS-2CD2342WD-I 4mp and Browser Not Supported in IE mode

Cool. I forget where I got that tip, but it was on this or another forum.

Hik-Connect Vertical Lines Appearing in CCTV Feed – Not There Before

It’s an analogue HD system (DVR) and is interference usually caused by a power supply issue, poor termination, or ground fault. Power supply is easiest to rule out - replace it ensuring the new one has sufficient output for the cameras. An overloaded PSU could cause this. Termination...

Adding a remote Hikvision camera over the internet to my NVR

Though technically possible, I'd say adding remote cameras to a local NVR over t'internet I likely to be a non starter unless you have a symmetric fibre service. There are a couple of ways it could be achieved: 1 - A site to site VPN 2 - Adding the cameras via RTSP. Depending on the NVR, you...

No Video on all Digital Cameras on Hikvision but work on another system

Ah ok. You said you had 10 digital cameras connected to the system which is why I assumed IP. The cameras are not digital they are analogue HD/HDTVi. As the cameras are powering and displaying correctly on the new DVR that leaves two possibilities I can think of: 1 - This is very unlikely...

NVR + Camera audio echo/whistle problem

It's a known issue with the new G3 ColorVu cameras. I spoke about it in this post when the cameras were first released: G3 ColorVu Cameras - First Impressions Unfortunately there have been a few firmware updates since release but the issue persists and the Environmental Noise Filter is...

No Video on all Digital Cameras on Hikvision but work on another system

The likelihood is that when you connected them to replacement NVR, the cameras have ended up having their IP addresses and password changed (easily done if the system is 'plug and play'. Start afresh and factory default the NVR and factory default the IP cameras before connecting them to the NVR.

    Event recording vs motion

Possibly, it's not obvious where you configured it. You’ve possibly just enabled and configured an event which alone will not alter the recording (which is scheduled as 24/7 by default). The triggered event will just be marked on the recording timeline and be logged by the NVR. If you want it...

Hik-Connect Remote viewing not working virgin hub 5/ hikvision DVR

Firstly you only need port forwarding if you added your CCTV to Hik-Connect using its IP address. If you added your CCTV to Hik-Connect by registering an account (with your e mail or phone number) and adding it to that same account, the change of ISP should pose no problem. You can just go...

    HDD Exception?

If iOS/Android permits that I'm surprised Hik-Connect haven't implemented it yet - no doubt they'll catch up eventually.

    HDD Exception?

Not quite sure what you're trying to do. Hik-Connect will only bring up a banner on screen when a notification is sent, to see the snapshot you have to click on the push notification or go into the app (unless you mean a Hik doorbell/intercom which will bring up the live screen once you...

    DS-K1T804BMF issue with Chinese language

Hikvision China? But unless you can speak/read Chinese you're going to struggle to get to the support page to find the resource:

    HDD Exception?

The bandwidth is just the total of the bitrate for all of the main and sub streams combined. If you're running VBR which most do it'll be variable. If you were running 4MP cameras at 25FPS H264 the recommended max bit rate is 8192; at H265 it's half that at 4096. So using worst case scenario...

    HDD Exception?

The only difference between the DS-7604NXI-K1/4P and the DS-7608NXI-K1/8P would be the incoming bandwidth. The newer (D) revisions don't have a fan on the K1s. The K2 (DS-7608NXI-K2/8P) has two HDD bays (and a fan I think) and marginally better decoding performance; but it sounds like you're...

    HDD Exception?

You might be able to find it in the 'Exception Configuration'. There you can turn off the buzzer for individual events. This is from my M but there will be something similar on the NXI:

    HDD Exception?

Unfortunately it's only on the local menu (HDMI output). Unless you can find it directly in the maintenance menu, but I've not seen it there.

    HDD Exception?

I generally use Skyhawks and I've used WD Purple a few times without issue. You probably just got unlucky, it happens. However as mentioned in another post somewhere, there are some Skyhawks that are not fully compatible (won't store VCA data) so check the part numbers against the Hikvision...

    HDD Exception?

Not in the normal config menus, but in the top right corner of the live screen. In the maintenance menu there's a checkbox somewhere to disable fully the buzzer so that it cannot beep for any alert or description. I can't remember the exact procedure as I haven't been in that menu since...

    Hikvision NVR

The NXI-K2 should be fine. Next up would be the NXI-I2 or the NI-M2. The M2 has the best performance with higher incoming bandwidth and decoding capability than the other models, however it does not have AcuSearch which the NXI models have.

    Hikvision NVR

The AcuSense is in your cameras so you're best leaving them do the processing rather than employing the AcuSense in the NVR (it's more limited). Regardless of whether the NVR has PoE ports or not, you can still leave your cameras connected via your PoE switch on the LAN. My NVR has PoE ports...
