This is one of the best features of this ColorVu camera - to have the light flash on motion. Such a shame they're removing this from the firmware.

I have my NVR recording on Smart Events, but given I miss a few moments before and after the Smart Event, I am going to enable continuous recording and have any Smart Events send a push notifications to my phone. I think this is the best of both worlds.

Thanks @JB1970. Turning WDR off has helped significantly! Only issue i'm finding now is that play back seems to stop after 3 seconds and I have to scribe through to about halfway before I can view the rest of the recording. Any ideas with this one? Should I reduce the bitrate and/or frame rates?
