When going into the settings of my colorvu G5, the option is there to record rules to the capture. I tested it and it does show rules, but only on the local SSD streams...

Hi all, using DS-7808NI-I2 and colorvu camera's G5 Can I record the rule information to the NVR so I can see the rules that I have set for my events while playing the stream? I know this can be done for the Live View settings but I would like to capture this to the NVR. Anybody knows?

Update: I twisted the camera position a bit upwards and now (to my surprise) I do get events captured a night!

I am not sure, but I notice in the screenshot for the smart (intrusion detection) event there is another slider called duration. That indicates the "supplemental light" is part of the event - trigger (and not meant to gradually turn on when it gets darker outside).

Why would you ask specifically to downgrade firmware? Will v5.7.15 be a more stable version?

That I am not sure, I belief yes as I have chased firmware updates aggressively that last year in an attempt to resolve the issue.

Yep that is my setup as well. I have "Notify Surveillance Center" box ticket and I do receive notifications in Hik-Connect, but not all. Specifically at night time. This has been bugging my system for over a year now.

I don't have "Enable Dynamic Analysis for Motion" activated as this belongs to Motion Detection, not Line Crossing detection. Or am I missing something here.
