I just wanted to offer some advice too. In my experience, lots of ubiquiti products use 24V POE (some other standard of POE). Hikvision IP Cameras use the most common standard of POE which outputs 48V.

If you use internet explorer, you will probably find what you are missing in chrome.

What browser are you using? I had the same issue recently but after restarting my computer, the problem went away.

1. That wouldn't be a bad idea. Although, you should be fine to do it without resetting. 2. Depends on your switch however usually you can plug the router into any port, although port one is good practice.

When you plug an IP Camera into anything other than the back of the NVR, the NVR will not find it. NVR's do not search your LAN for cameras. You will need to download the SADP tool. Plug camera(in your case: DS-2CD2347G2-LU) into the switch. Open SADP tool, you should see your NVR in...

The DS-KIS603-P is probably your best option. Much less 'industrial' and slightly more domestic. It also comes with an indoor station which rings when the doorbell is pressed.
