Each PoE interface will be connected in parallel to the pcb dc supply. As @Phil says, each poe interface is independent and can switch off the poe dc supply to the camera. David

Does this require authentication before the putty CLI connection is established? In the images posted of the putty CLI session I expected to see the tftp client trying to connect to the DVR server. it would've been good to see the whole process from the DVR the flash update worked on. I think...

That's why I asked for the procedure used on the other DVR, there could be proprietary emulation being used on both host and client RS232 serial interfaces. Others may be able to help you..... David.

Are you using the DVR rs232 serial interface? I don’t think tftp is supported within the rs232 protocol. Do you have a link to the procedure you are following? David

@ab12 I’ve a similar setup. Could it be a Wi-Fi connectivity problem? For testing move a device closer to your Wi-Fi source. David

I’ve enabled this on both my NVR’s using the NVR GUI. Could not see it on the web GUI. David

@Vauxfan my firmware is V4.61.030 build 240123. Camera connected to the NVR is a DS-2CD2347G1-LU, firmware V5.6.6 build 210625, set for continuous record, dual VCA box ticked. playing back at the NVR with smart selected and human / vehicle not selected, I have a continuous blue line with red...

Can you borrow a digital multimeter from anyone? Give some thought to the fans current draw, too much and you could damage the psu. Can you move it somewhere cooler or with better airflow? Another option is to drill holes in the chassis under and to the side of the drive. David
