Please Help I'm Having IP conflicts on my IP camera network.

as long as the connecters were terminated properly and tested for continuity / splits / crosses / losses, they should be ok. Did you do a full spec test of the cables? You have connectivity to all the cameras as they are working, bear in mind the cables could cause problems. Did you check the...

Please Help I'm Having IP conflicts on my IP camera network.

That is true but there seems to be a problem, reducing frame rate / video quality / video resolution should give you a usable setup. That'll give time to figure out what the problem is. Who did the install and were the ethernet cables locally or factory made? David

Bit of a problem need advice/help regarding market stall security

These days this is not a problem, with the right power pack and equipment you can easily provide power for the whole trading day. Maybe a couple of days. When I used to travel a lot my Lion power pack would easily run my wifi hotspot / phone / tablet. David

Bit of a problem need advice/help regarding market stall security

@davidmorris1956 Dave, What do other stall owners do? Have you any budget in mind? You cannot watch everything at the same time, distraction is a useful tool to the shop lifter. I'd use a system that recorded onto an sdcard in the camera. Give some thought to CCTV recording in a public space...

Please Help I'm Having IP conflicts on my IP camera network.

@kizzy9c Like an orchestra performs better with a conductor an IT network is better with a router. I think you'll regret not using one. I'm not sure what model Hikvision NVR you have. Is the NVR automatically adding the other cameras it sees on the network? If so you should be able to disable...

the host pc seems to be under resourced for the vm, what do the host pc performance stats for memory / disc / cpu look like when the vm is running? Does the vm's bridged network connection assign a unique IPV4 address to the VM? David

    Ethernet Camera to NAS?

Best to check which port numbers are in use. To make sure the NAS is accessible as a drive using win10 map the NAS as a network drive, then create a text file and save to the NAS camera folder / directory. Then make sure you can open / edit / save / delete the same text file. This link may...
