With the new version the reconnect issue is still there. And even after all cameras show as online on the UI, hik connect takes few more minutes till they are back online.

Hi, HIK have released 4.60.005 for the I series.. maybe that fixes the reconnect delay. DS-7608NI-I2/8P no release notes.

Hi, noticed on the HIK UK website new version 4.60.000 for the I Series NVRs. No changelog and not on the UK portal so far. Haven't tried yet...

My DS2CD2047G2 (G3) shows one extra icon allowing white light to be turned on/off. A bulb with the letter a. Funny thing it only shows when connecting via hik. Locally added NVR and cam isn't show the icon. The option to change noise reduction setting is also not available for local cams. But...

interesting.. i disabled the white light.. must go and try enabling again and see if i can trigger from app.. would indeed be handy to ad hoc trigger siren or light - (where supported by the camera)

True. But not everyone wants it constantly on at night, but when linking the light to event , then it also lights up for events during the day. Edit. Sorry that was observation with G3 cam. We are talking G5 cam here and I don't actually know whether they show same behavior.. so curious to know...

Waiting for one of those with 4mm myself. But remember the Colorvu do not have IR , you need ambient light at night. Yes, they have white light, but hik can't make up their mind whether to allow light to come for alarms. And not everyone wants the light on all day and night.

Well what did you try during those hours? Clear browser cache. Download plugin again, may be incompatible. etc. i did notice that the 51.007 version had Web Version 5.0.0, while the newer .51.025 version shows web versionV4.5.0 build 210923.. your downgrade to 4.40 shows older web version...

managed to update to the later .160 version using chrome .. might try the .800 to see if the non(C) cams loose the white light linkage as well.

Not looking to downgrade. Aware of TFTP process. Some say the HIK batch config tool works for upgrades when UI fails. But not getting the tool to connect..
