I think most of the (really good) advice offered is for someone who is at least a hobbyist with IP cameras. My suggestion is to call in a pro to help you.

Reboot your NVR. Occasionally I get errors and playback issues, including the famous "too many resources" error message. Reboot of the NVR so far has always cured the problems.

Is it going to a gmail account? If so you have to enable less secure apps in gmail in order for it to work. There's a thread on here about it.

Go to the NVR logs and scroll through them. If it's the HD there will be alarms. Config, maintenance, log.

There is a new firmware version - upload it and see if it helps. No idea what could be causing your problem otherwise - I have two of those cameras and another two being delivered next week. They are fantastic.

Andy, maybe these images will help. The first pic is from a 2355 5mp at midnight, with a streetlight about 100 feet to the right: This picture is with an older 2347G1 4mp at midnight. Huge difference. I would assume the G2's are even better.
