Thank you again JB1970, yes you are quite correct, after doing the extraction/unzip the digicap.dav is inside it. Question is, do I need to do anything more so that the update finds the digicap.dav file or will it be OK that it will pick it up as the IPC_G1 it wil see?

One question please as I seem to be having problems with creating the digicap.dave file. Will highlighting the file and then right-clicking and choosing 'Extract-All' give the same end result as downloading an unzipping app, which I don't have at the moment. The Extract-All method worked for...

I do have a digicap.dav file that I used for updating the NVR. I didn't think that that was to be used for the camera upgrading aswell, particularly as Dan had pointed me to IPC_G1_EN_STD_5.6.820_220519 for the cameras.

I can't see any reference to Hik-Connect on my NVR. I have trawled through all of the settings too.

NVR is a DS-7604NI-K1/4P(B). I have looked at the Hik-Connect app on my phone and that is working fine and is showing the correct time. I have gone through all of the settings menu and cannot find anything to do with the time sync and so if it is on, I can't disable it.

I have just backtracked to the 'edit' box but definitely no such option appears. I've just gone back into Live View on my monitor and the damn thing has gone back to an hour behind again. The Live View on the browser is still showing the correct time.
