Ok thanks Phil - its now working, I have done a couple of restarts of my pc and the search function now seems to be bringing up the previous days files. Not sure why it didn't access the files after the first restart.

I have just updated to the new version 2.7.2.7 which seems to work fine apart from the fact that on "Remote Playback" I can now only view back to midnight last night i.e. recording from previous days is not viewable - is this a glitch in the udpate or is there a simple toggle in the software...
