I'll have a look tonight when it goes off. Last time I checked the camera was showing as disconnected in NVR so I'm not sure it will show anything to be honest. Recordings on NVR for that channel are blank throughout so can see it's not intermittent on and off throughout the night. Strange...

If it was a power problem would it not reboot continuously throughout the night and leave some trace on the NVR? IR switches off on other cameras around 5AM and this one comes back online around 5hrs later around 10AM.

Did you solve this? I've got 4 DS-2CD2342 that have been working perfectly for around 3 years and one now has the same issue. Camera goes offline between 11PM and 3AM and comes back online around 10AM. Its wired in external cat 5 and using IP65 boxes at camera. Not done any fault finding...

Slightly different from my issue then. I can play back fine when connected via LAN using the method I stated a few posts above. When I say connected by LAN I mean not using the cloud service at all and connecting to local IP address of your NVR. Like I said you can do this in ezviz. It's only...

That sounds like a completely different problem then, if playback does not work through LAN.

On the ezviz app, if you go to "more" in bottom right , "function settings", then "local" you can connect through LAN. For me playback is flawless that way, even when connecting outwith LAN using VPN or DDNS. Might be worth checking that before buying a switch as will rule out bandwidth...

Should probably have added I have 4 x DS-2CD2342WD and DS-7604NI-E1-4P 3 cameras set up for auto day/night switch and 1 always in day mode. All cameras have the same issue.

Exactly same problem here. Mines has been sketchy for a while so gave up but and after reading this I've realised it only works at night. Reset NVR and all 4 cameras. DNS and gateway correct. Live view works 24/7 but can only view recordings made at night. Same with ezviz and hikconnect...
