Hi! I've got several Hikvision DS-2CD2142FWD-I cameras. I'm looking to replace (some/all) What's the benefit of "darkfighter" & do they do a replacement worth having?

I used to be able to access my cameras to configure but now I can't!! I'm able to log in to the NVR & get to System/camera management & all my cameras are there, but the "connect" column far right no longer has the "enter password" showing. The system is functioning normally. Thanks
