Line crossing and general alert issue

Yes, I was going to comment that the angle is out. Personally, when installing cameras I always make whatever is in the centre of the field of view, vertical. On the example shown the camera has been installed so that the right hand edge of the view is vertical (the camera should be turned so...

    An NVR with People Detection?

The AcuSense function is what you're needing for Human detection. The function is available on NXI NVRs and on some cameras. There are variations on what is possible depending on whether the AcuSense function is available on the camera or on the NVR. AcuSense Camera - When using it on a...

    An NVR with People Detection?

Yes. All NVRs with 'NXI' in the part code. Possibly. Hikvision NVRs support ONVIF and also custom protocols so you can specify the port and url for the RTSP stream (though I've not tried it) I imagine so. I use Hubitat not Home Assistant but have node-red connected to the NVRs event stream...

    NVR recommendations

This... I think it's just Hik-Connect. As a test I: Viewed a notification clip from yesterday with my app on mobile data - it was choppy. Logged into my router and created a port forward rule to my NVR then added my NVR to Hik-Connect via it's WAN IP address Still on mobile data, opened the...

Hikvision Face Detection vis Hikvision Face Capture

The Which AcuSeek NVR do you have as this may be a factor? The standard VPro NVR that I have (7616NXI-I2/VPro) has two engines. If one is set to AcuSeek, the other must be set to AcuSearch and vice versa (you cannot have one without the other). My guess (and it is a guess) is that you might...

    The great firmware hunt of 2026.... iDS-7732NXI-I4 / 16P/8S

It looks as though that's a first generation Deep in Mind NVR. The last version is 4.1.28 available on the EU portal at the bottom of this linked page: EU Portal - 1st Gen Deep in Mind

    Hikvision-Guanlan DeepinViewX camera

That's not how it works! I'm no expert but take the first number as the major version or platform, the second number would be a release incorporating multiple changes and the third number (or 'point' release) is minor revisions. In the case of your camera there aren't necessarily any versions...

    Hikvision-Guanlan DeepinViewX camera

Not that I'm aware of. In your original post I used the serial number of your camera to search on Hik Partner Pro app and the version I posted is what came up. The model you have is not available in the UK. The compatibility will be fine, but some functions/settings that are available on the...

    Hikvision-- Firmware DS-2CD2387G3

Hope they add this to the H13U (4MP models) to match. Obviously no chance that it'll get added to older models (G5 etc) as they're EOL.

    Hikvision-- Firmware DS-2CD2387G3

New version of HC out 6.11.2 a few hours ago - perhaps that’ll fix it. It’s out for iOS not sure about android

    Hikvision-Guanlan DeepinViewX camera

A couple of things to note: You want to be logging into the camera directly if it's on an NVR and setting the exposure to auto. You then set the upper and lower limits (for instance 1/10,000 and 1/50). You don't want a fixed exposure - the image will be over/under exposed according to the...

    Hikvision-- Firmware DS-2CD2387G3

Yeah that appeared about a week ago. It's taken a long time for the 8MP H13 firmware to be updated. For a long time it's been on a lower version than teh 4MP H13U (now on 5.8.21) In the release notes that you linked I noticed this: 4. When the camera is directly connected to HC, the playback...

[Resolved] Hik-Partner Pro Issues Anyone? 14-01-26

It looks to be fixed now. When I checked this morning all NVRs were back to normal with only intercoms showing the fault. One by one those intercoms have cleared too.

[Resolved] Hik-Partner Pro Issues Anyone? 14-01-26

Hope it gets sorted quickly as the alservice is no use currently- it’s difficult to see the real faults. I added a new site with a single camera at home last night on my network to set up pre install. I got the same fault notification within 5 mins of registering the camera.

[Resolved] Hik-Partner Pro Issues Anyone? 14-01-26

It's strange. It's left an unknown error on every site where Health Monitoring is subscribed to (it probably won't affect anyone in EU as you get that free of charge as part of the remote maintenance). I'm left with an exception on all sites, 7 unread notifications that don't exist in both app...

Support case raised with Hikvision. Apparently 'it's affecting a lot of installers'

[Resolved] Hik-Partner Pro Issues Anyone? 14-01-26

Wondering if anyone is using Hik-Partner Pro in the UK and having issues with Health Monitoring today? Every site to which I've added Health Monitoring has thrown an exception this morning. This isn't affecting every site in the app, just those where the Health Monitoring service has been...

    Hikvision vs Unifi

I'd only use a 2.8mm for the one that is to cover who is at the door to get them in full view. Any others I'd be using 4mm (as that still provides a wide horizontal viewing angle of about 95 degrees). Your best bet would be to temporarily connect a camera on a long flying lead and bring up the...

    Firmware Firmware update DS-7604NI-K1/4P?

That is the latest firmware. It’s an old model so there won’t be any further updates. The newer models that use the same model code are different hardware revisions so the firmware for those is not compatible. The build is in the format yymmdd so yours is currently November 2017 and the...
