False alarm guys @JB1970 - you were right, the NVR wasn't connected to the Router. Im such an amateur - thanks for your support though team, appreciate it.
Yep, so the NVR is connected directly to the router, of which the 4x cameras are connected via a switch to the router.
So NVR > Router < 4x cameras (via switch).
Thanks for both your replies.
I tried enabling the DHCP check box, saved it, then disabled it. It gave the following IP below. Following this I tried connecting to Hik-connect, 'add device' - then scanned the QR code from 'Platform access' - no luck.

Hi team,
I've recently switched ISP providers and in doing so it's rendered my Hik-connect App offline.
I have an NVR that's directly connected to the router via Ethernet, so i'm able to view the live feed via the NVR.
I remember switching ISP previously last year and got my App to work, but...
Funnily enough I downloaded 4.51.025 but instead got V4.51.007 build 220316 lol. Not too sure why this was the case, but the more important thing is that my cameras are working as they did before.
I downloaded 4.51.025 here...
I'm based in NZ, but bought the setup in Sydney.
I'm about to update my NVR to a later version (not the LiveGuard) as i'm getting a bunch of 'Network is unstable' issues and playback doesn't work. Hoping the firmware address this.
If resolved, i'll look at the LiveGuard stuff..
I never got around to updating the firmware to enable this feature.. I was too scared I'd lose the ability to have my strobe light tigger on an Event if i upgraded the firmware.
I just get nervous with updating firmware, my system works fine the way it is and I'd hate to muck it up with newer...
I have the ISU/SL (G3) - both strobe light and active deterrent and connected using the HikConnect app.
Do I update the firmware of the NVR (iSeries) or the camera?
I have some 2386G2 cameras and I'd love to have the option to trigger the siren via app...
Is there a firmware update that supports this feature? Do I need to update my Camera FW or NVR FW, or both to get this feature?
Edit: i'm on V5.5.131 build 200220 - though nervous any new updates will...
Another question(s) which may be relevant here...
1. In Playback view, is there a way to view in 'Normal' but have it show the 'Smart' events? When I switch to Smart, the playback goes straight to the Smart Event. It would be nice to see what happened before and after the Event.
2. When I do...
Piggy-backing on this thread to avoid another -
Is it possible to receive smart-event notifications while enabling continuous recording?
E.g. Record 24/7 - but receive a push-notification re. Intrusion Detection etc.?
I don't easy access to a monitor/NVR so mostly rely on push notifications etc.
I’m getting the same error, however I’m only experiencing this on the 2386G2 cameras and not the 2347G2 cameras… iSeries NVR too.
Any ideas? It’s a bit frustrating given how much we spend on this system.
I have my NVR recording on Smart Events, but given I miss a few moments before and after the Smart Event, I am going to enable continuous recording and have any Smart Events send a push notifications to my phone.
I think this is the best of both worlds.
Thank so much for helping me out! Appreciate it so far.
One random question aside — I have ColorVu's to trigger the LED light on a smart event, but now with a parked car in the driveway, I can't get the LED to turn off. Do I need to switch from Intrusion Detection to Line Crossing?
Thanks again. I haven't considered or configured these for 24/7 recording. Just Event recording for now — I delete these notifications as well (though i'm unsure if this also deletes the recorded Event from the HDD)
Just weary that the HDD will overwrite itself and I don't have a backup for...
