Newer build of firmware V5.02.006 build 240407 available on US and Global EN product pages for DS-7616NI-M2/16P (not on UK page):
DS-7616NI-M2/16P
Also new Hik-Connect V6.2.51 (for iPhone) available today.
I have loaded both... don't expect to see any changes but I will report if I notice...
That seems to be a mystery... I'm thinking the video is being analyzed each time it's loaded... some brute force algorithm but it gets the job done... eventually.
Yes, the latest V5.02.005 build 240318 fixed my playback on Hik-connect... just checked again now to confirm... both regular playback and event playback are smooth as they could be.
There was a Hik-connect update on iOS also... V6.2.50.20240320.3... maybe that needs to be updated also?
howdy... someone reported a connection timeout problem when downloading over a slower Wi-Fi network... I had the http requests set to timeout in 1 second (for no good reason) ... I have changed the timeout to 15 seconds... I have also changed the way GMT/UTC hours offset defaults, so it accounts...
The Hik-connect stuttering playback has been fixed in the latest release V5.02.005 build 240318... and @stuhope123 's doorbell connected with this release as well... maybe time to give it a shot?
The first time you run it, enter your latitude and longitude coordinates... you can get these by right clicking on you location in google maps... after entering these, you should see correct sunrise/sunset times for the current date/location...
enter your camera's username and password... enter...
Hi... I created this utility to set the Image Parameters Switch on Hikvision cameras using local sunrise/sunset times... I have attached a copy of the Windows utility if anyone wants to try it out...
PLEASE USE LATEST VERSION AT END OF THREAD!
Hi @kraven ... I have one of the EZVIZ DB1 Pro doorbells also but since V5.0 arrived I cannot get it to connect with HIKVISION protocol... It tells me I have the wrong password, but that same password works for RTSP... so I use HIKVISION_RTSP... did you change the password from the default...
Hi @alfaclvi ... yes, it's there on M series... as I said I'm really not familiar with any of it though... I think one of the use-Ip staff or JB will be along to sort this out for Stu...
I'm not familiar with these doorbells but until someone qualified comes along... Is there a chance it should be added as an "Access Control Device" rather than a "Video Device"? I wonder if you remove it, would it then show up in the list of "Online Devices" here:
This "Camera Remote Configuration" is a new setting... I'm certain because it was not there when I took a screenshot back in January... I wonder what it's for?
Naturally, I've turned it right on :)
