Is running cat5 low to the ground a security risk? Do pros ever run the cable low? I’m thinking someone could cut it?

Hello ladies and gentlemen My new build house has a spare cat5e cable in an etu box on the side of my house. I would like to use it to for two cctv cameras I’m thinking of running it up the side of a drain pipe and connect two cameras. would this work? Thanks
