Hi , I am struggling with playback skipping on one of my cameras ( 1 DS-2CD2387G2-LU ). It’s on my garage, Live view is fine, but when I playback say a car reversing it skips , not flowing clearly, Any ideas ? Thanks

Just to clarify my issue. My cameras are directly connected to the PoE ports on a Hikvision NVR , they are connected to the NVRs subnet IP range (192.168.254.xxx) I believe . I enabled "Enable HTTPS Browsing" on the camera and it is no longer accessible via the Virtual Host feature. So...

Hi thanks for the reply , so can log into my NVR and my 3 other cameras . So my camera device ip is 192.168.254.2. What should I alter to gain access ? Yes still using default port

Hi there. I have 3 cameras on my system, and all was working fine. I can now for some reason not get notifications to my phone. All my cameras on platform access are offline and I don’t know how to get them back online. On my NVR ( DS-7608NI-I2 / 8P ) it shows the platform access is online ...

So reporting back. I used playback on the web browser was fine. So deleted ivms 4200, re installed newer version as wasn’t sure how you update it ? All seems to be ok now. The only slight issue I have noticed, is that at night or early in the morning when it’s still dark, if I walk past the...

Thanks again for the reply, I will try reducing the bitrate tonight. Currently set at 8192. I watch most of the playback through ivms 4200, I will also try downloading it tonight and report back tomorrow.

Adding to the above, just watched another playback from today. The person walking in the playback stops for a millisecond then the walk speeds up for a second then slow again, then fast ?
