I setup email alerts by getting the app password via gmail, and alerts work fine, but, when I come out of SADP configuration, the orginal password overwrites the gmail app password? Can you please advise?

I've been having a problem with partial recording on one camera. An electrician said one of the wires had been pulled and fixed the issue by reconnecting the wires but its not recording for a few hours sometimes and sometimes there are many black lines over a period of a couple of hours
