My cams is connected directly to the NVR where virtual host enabled, and the batch program unfortunately not able to locate the cams. My plan was to connect the cam directly to my pc then for update during the weekend...
Hi Phil. The fiour cams succeeded had same last version 5.4.4 as the version on the one not accepting the update.
Its returning the error code "can not load upgrade process" (my translation from danish error code). Error occurs after loading 8% of the file.

I just updated the firmware to v5.5.0 on 4 of my cams from v5.4.4, but the 5th cam (similar to the first four) telling it can not install the firmware. Tried now for 4 times and same happens.
Anyone tried this?
You need to configure iWMS with the IP address pointing towards your router from 'outside', eg the ip address your router has been assigned from your ISP.
You as well need to configure your router with port forwarding to your NVR.
If you do not have a fix IP address then you should setup DDNS...

Updated my cams - only visible change is that hikdns now unsupported and authentication/verification enabled for hik-connect.
New firmware released 13-Mar-2017. Anyone that have updated their firmware running this version (3.4.92)?
Just have no issues with v .91 and looking back on previous updates not all has been stabil ;-) so curious whether someone has runned v .92 ?

Defiantly- this firmware Optimize the NVR’s stability in high load situation and has solved the issue on abnormal restarts faced with v 3.4.90 (at least for the I-series which I have).
Also few other improvements which can be seen in the release note

My opinion: quit motion detection. Its not catching what you want when needed and catching items as the insects you are experiencing. Put the cams on continues...

Most properly ;-) I can not see any real different from using 10 pictures per second compared to 18. Read somewhere that the human eye can not see any difference in the stream down to 7-8 pics per second. Of course, my surveillance is only for home use, and as such 10 pics per second should be...
The nvr was reset (all the parameters, except the IP parameters and user information, to the default settings) via the webinterface (always use the webinterface for accessing the nvr and cam configurations) and use the windows client iWMS 4200 for playback as easier to make time searches etc...

Since I upgraded the Cam firmware last Friday, and made a restore of settings on all cams and the nvr, I have not had any 'abnormal shutdowns' now for 4 days. I'm accessing the nvr for live view several times daily from iVMS4500 app.
After reading in another forum that issue more...
Just got it working as before the update. Added the ip address of the NVR and Cams as 'Local Intranet sites' into the Internet options. And turned compatibility view on for the ip address as well. Now it works ;-)
Just had an windows update incl update of IE to version 11.
Experienced that the webcomponent now is not working when accessing NVR or Cams from the browser (IE). Just showing 'No plug in found'. but is not asking for download as usual.
I'm also not able to select any path to the firmware upload...
