As an update, I've now disabled platform access on the original NVR and enabled it on the new one, and so far the new one seems to work fine, so it's looking more like one public IP address can only be used for one NVR.
Has anyone else tried this?
Hi,
A little background - we set up a 16 camera DS-7616NI-I2 a little while ago (from Use-ip).
After some issues with i-catcher and a seeming lack of development, a snap decision was made to replace this application with an NVR and a DS7604NI-E1 was available (from my home until a replacement...
Jon,
Thats great news, if you need someone to test the software with the 3300, then please let me know. I should be setting up all the cameras with iCatcher console trial at some point this weekend- will see if the other Sanyo type will recieve the images for now (If they do, then I think the...
That's great, does it also support the Sanyo VDC-HD3300P also, as I can't see this in the list of cameras to select from in the trial edition.
Thanks,
Harv
Just as a tip, when following this guide, if you take the illumination board off (this is if you are focusing in daylight hours). Then remove the rubber central light shield, then re-attach the illumination board, you can adjust the focus live, rather than having to turn off, remove board, make...
Just an update, I contacted Sanyo, and spoke to a brilliant member of their tech support.
The steps we went through to update the last 2 cameras :-
First was to try the firmware update from IE8 in backward compatability mode to appear as IE7.
This didn't work, so next I tried the update from...
Hi, just wondered if anyone has moved a registered copy of Luxriot from an old server to a new one.
I found the guide on their website to moving the camera settings between servers (copy the access database), however, moving the licence seems a bit more tricky - it says that the key has already...
I've just noticed they have added a few more items of firmware- including the HD3300 firmware - VDC-HD3100P_HD3300P_Main_2.03-02_Sub_1.01-00.zip a slightly different version to that which the international download site has.
I've so far managed to update 2 of the (4) cameras which we have. The...
Hi all,
Have you ever tried updating the firmware on one of these cameras?
To take to 2.X you have to upgrade to an interim firmware.. I've tried on several of the cameras - following the update procedure in the pdf. The camera seems to get most of the way through, then just reset without...
Phil,
I've just found the link and got on the US Site.. just downloading a file from 13/4/2011.
For anyone else interested or looking for Sanyo firmware, this is a good link - if it doesn't work straight off, set your ftp client to have the remote folder of /HD Cameras/ and it works fine...
Phil,
Cheers for the quick reply. I'm actually after the FW for HD3300's but thought I'd hijack this thread.
Thanks for the quick reply.
I don't suppose you have access to the Sanyo UK site?
Harv
Hi,
Just wondering if you know of any covert IP Cameras, either with a fibre optic extension, or disguised as a clock, smoke detector, PIR etc..
Many Thanks,
Harv
Hey,
I've got a couple of these installed, I did get a call last week to say that one had stopped working, and then 12 hours later the other. They had both been on and recording non stop in Luxriot since Dec 18th 2009.
A quick power down (pulled the patch lead at the switch) and power up...
Just thought I'd update this thread..
I've now added a second one of these cameras, and it took a little more effort to set up.
I have found that because there are no LED's on the camera, it's quite tricky to get a feel for when all is booted and well.
However, I plugged it in, waited a few...
