Can I use any ip camera with my hikvision NVR?

Hi I’m new I need help please,

I've got a hikvison nvr - can I use any other ip camera (not a hikvision camera) like little cheaper?

If the 3rd-party/non-Hikvision cameras you are looking at are ONVIF compliant then you should be able to add them to a Hikvision NVR, but most camera-specific smart features will not be supported on the Hikvision NVR if added as an ONVIF device.

Most manufacturers will state on the camera product page or datasheet if a model is ONVIF compliant, you can also check if a model is ONVIF compliant via the ONVIF website.
