DS-3E1309P-EI - For Non Hik Cameras

Hi all, can the above be used for non hik cameras to be connected to a NVR?

Probably have around 4 non hik cams and will add 1 or 2 hik as and when and maybe another 1 of another different brand (cost being main reason)

I have activated the switch via SADP and also changed the IP add to be in line with my network, and can also connect to it through Batch Config tool, but when i go to the switch i cant see any lights flashing on the rear ports but they are connected to the cameras

This Hikvision switch's basic PoE switch functionality should work with any PoE camera, but third-party cameras won't support some of the Smart Managed features.

Can you please provide more details of the 3rd-party cameras you have? What are the brands and model numbers?

What NVR model are you trying to connect the cameras to? Have you checked the 'Online Devices' section in your NVR to see if it's detecting these cameras?

The NVR in question is a serage brand and also are the 4 of the cameras
1 of the cams is a Hik 4MP colourvu, which is working via onvif to the NVR

However the Hiks audio in not coing through the NVR for some reason?, is audio not available via onvif

Can you please confirm the model numbers of the NVR and the cameras you are trying to connect to the NVR?

We can't help you any further without this information. The NVR and/or cameras may have technical limitations that mean they won't work together, so we need the model numbers to check the specs of each model.
