Hi all thank you for being here to help out folks like me. I have a couple of IP cameras connected to my network via poe and I can watch all the activity of the birds nesting etc. However the problem I have is that I cant connect to the cameras when Im away from home. I got as far as finding out that I have to change a DHCP setting on my router {sky} but I tried that and I couldnt connect at all. What I did in fact was assign a specific ip address to my camera but I think that was the wrong thing to do. I would really appreciate any help with this. Im using Xmeye on my android phone and CMS5 on my laptop to access the ip cams.
