Door Entry Hikvision DS-KV6113-WPE1 electric strike connection?

Hello Gentlemen,

I would like to purchase the "Hikvision DS-KV6113-WPE1(C) Door Station" for my gate.

My question is: if I connect it with an electric strike which has the (locked-unlocked) monitoring contact, do I need to connect the monitoring contacts to the AIN1 input as per the wiring diagram?

In this case, will I see in the HikConnect app and the indoor panel whether the lock is locked or unlocked?
Or where exactly is the status displayed?

You don't have to connect a contact, however it usually provides additional functionality such as curtailing the lock time. For instance if you set the lock relay time to 10 seconds, the lock will be open for 10 seconds or until the contact has returned to it's closed state if less than the 10 seconds programmed (preventing tailgating on doors or pedestrian gates) I don't think that the lock status shows on the indoor panel or Hik-Connect. Usually on other access control systems the contact will log a 'Door Forced' event if the contact opens while the relay is not energised.
