Hikvision Face Detection vis Hikvision Face Capture

I see a lot of the new model Hikvision cameras come with face capture, I am looking at different options here.

I have an AcuSeek NVR and I want to be able to detect people going to the canteen and those that steal get listed with a face capture or will I need a camera with face detection.

This datums are impotant as cameras that have face capture are much cheaper than face detection cameras . Thanks

Which AcuSeek NVR do you have as this may be a factor? The standard VPro NVR that I have (7616NXI-I2/VPro) has two engines. If one is set to AcuSeek, the other must be set to AcuSearch and vice versa (you cannot have one without the other). My guess (and it is a guess) is that you might also need to use the Target Recognition algorithm if using cameras with basic face capture. But that can't be turned on without turning off AcuSearch or Acuseek (and turning off one disables the other)

So I think you'd need an NVR that had more than two engines.
