Hikvision ptz turning but no picture

Hi

Im after relocating my ptz to a new viewing point , I checked the cables and camera where good and working before mounting on a lamppost and they where working fine and could be viewed on nvr and through the app .

Now that I have mounted everything the ptz is turning but no picture on nvr and on app ( saying offline on nvr ) I put new connectors on both ends of the cable and still no luck !

Has the cable be broken somewhere even though the camera still has power to turn or may they camera need to be rebooted ?

What camera model please?
IP or analogue?
You might need to take the camera back down and test it again with short known-good cables ...
