HiLook IPC-B620-Z vs IP-B620-H-Z

Hi @ekkostar

Not sure of what the 'H' denotes in this product code, the product page I can find online doesn't make clear what the spec difference is between these models - IPC-B620H-Z/-V

What you will see is that both the B620-Z and B620H-Z are obsolete/EOL, we wouldn't recommend either of these models and you should instead look at the current Hi-Look 2MP Bullet range.

Here is the spec of the B620 Z I found.

It only lists H.264 so I was assuming that it was H/W limited on the compression formats ? Or maybe a later F/W enabled it perhaps?

Okay,

I think the model you have linked to is an even earlier/older version than the model I linked you to.

I think you are correct that for the specific model you are looking at, it does only support H.264 (probably because it predates H.265/H.265+ being introduced for the Hi-Look cameras) and it also appears to support the older, less powerful non-EXIR IR LEDs.

As mentioned above, both of these IPC-B620 models are obsolete (the last major firmware update for these models was in 2019), if you are looking to buy a new camera we would recommend looking at the current Hi-Look range on the Hikvision website.
