IP Surveillance Cameras

I"m looking at installing a few surveillance cameras for around the exterior of my home. I have the hard disk storage and infrastructure for WiFi - but do not know what I should looking for with IP cameras, or software to use with cameras.
Looking for any suggestions. Prefer to go low-cost if possible. https://nox.tips/

Therefore we can't advise you with any first-hand experience.
Many people purchase such systems from Amazon - brands such as Arlo, Reolink and Swann are mentioned often.
Be careful to avoid cameras that are entirely App based.
Be clear to know/check whether the cameras require a power cable or are battery powered.
