Hi,

if anyone can help, much appreciated ...

I can connect to my NVR using iVMS-4200 and can do config, but none of my cameras are able to connect.

All 8 cameras show up as online devices but once I add them to the Device Management area the 'net status' displays an error: libHCNetSDK.dylib[11].(Data transmission failed, incorrect data to or from the device.)

- I've verified the ip addresses and port numbers with SADP tool and everything matches.
- I've turned my firewall off

Hi @Murfy92

How did you add the camera to the Device Management list?

Did you select it from the Online Devices list at the bottom of the page, click 'Add to Client', enter the camera details, and then click 'Add'?

Yep I followed exactly the steps mentioned above.

Thanks @Murfy92

At first, we couldn't replicate this issue on our office Mac, but we noticed we weren't running the latest iVMS-4200 version.

We updated to that new version and then started seeing the same issue, so we think this is a glitch with the newest version of iVMS.

We've reported it to Hikvision support and while their technical team looks into they have suggested that you just downgrade to the last version of iVMS-4200 for Mac - V2.0.0.12

UPDATE - Hikvision Support has confirmed to us that a new version of iVMS-4200 for Mac will be released in Q1 2025 to fix this issue.
